One of my friends (female) got addicted to Season 1 of “Homeland” and told me she watched the entire season in 1 weekend. I think that is like 11 hours or something. She raved about it so much, that I started watching it this week. So far I have only had time to watch 2 episodes, but it is really good despite the fact that I don’t enjoy the subject matter.
I mean, I am just not one of these fearful types who is worried about terrorism. I don’t believe there are any terrorists threatening us because if they really were terrorists around and they wanted to do something, nobody could stop them. This is just common sense.
I know there was 9/11 and I don’t want to get into that subject. But it’s been over 10 years and nothing else has happened and you can rest assured it isn’t because some idiots in the “intelligence” community are protecting us. All that has happened since 9/11 is over 10 years of war, and our basic rights taken away from us. Unreal.
Hell, I can’t talk about saw palmetto all the time! There are other things besides prostate problems assaulting our masculine sovereignty…
But anyway, despite my boredom over the terrorism topic, “Homeland” has some amazing acting – especially from Claire Danes. I’m glad to see her working again as she was so cool in the 90′s on that show “My So-Called Life.”
