Home > Dietary changes are better then saw palmetto.

Yesterday I was talking about dietary changes such as avoiding the fat in estrogen-filled meat.  Are there any other dietary changes that one can make besides taking my prostate supplement.

Yes!  It is important to eat foods that are high in magnesium.  The problem is that the only foods high in magnesium are nuts and chocolate, yet these foods are also high in copper!  If you consume too much copper, and the levels of copper start to exceed the levels of zinc in your body, there will be a problem!  This is because at that point, no matter how much zinc you consume, your body will not use it – as the excessive copper in your system will block zinc’s utilization.

Ironically, one of the symptoms of excess copper is that your body will only crave more-and-more of it, creating an endless copper/zinc imbalance.

So, if you are craving chocolate, the common view is that you are addicted to the dopamine-stimulating nature of it, but on a deeper level, you are actually magnesium deficient.   The problem is, attempting to solve your magnesium deficiency via the consumption of chocolate will give you a copper/zinc imbalance long before you resolve your magnesium deficiency.

The same goes for consuming nuts.  As a matter of fact, the imbalance will be far worse and manifest a lot quicker.

So what to do?  I take a teaspoon of the following every day in a glass of water in lieu of saw palmetto
