One of the most difficult things for one who wants to be sovereign is to learn how to manage time.  Time is a funny thing, and personally I believe it is a bunch of made-up nonsense, yet since everyone believes it is valid and agrees to play by its rules, the rest of us have a problem. lol

I saw a documentary once that discussed some theories on the invention of the idea of time, and how its construction keeps us prisoners in our own minds.  Surely, many of you readers out there are aware of – if not suffer from… an obsession with watches!  Just walk past a watch store and take a look at all those beautiful designs!  Why so obsessive? ;)   Has it ever dawned on you that we are so proud to wear the chains of a form of slavery around our wrists and most of us aren’t even aware of it?  That $10,000 Rolex is actually celebrating the fact that you are not free.

But how exactly do we manage time?  The first thing is to be very clear about what you want out of life.  What is the most important thing to you?  Chances are it’s a series of experiences more so than the possession of things, although the two are often intertwined.  You may not know immediately what is your highest desire, so the idea is to take whatever comes to mind and run with it.  You’ll know you’ve picked the right goals when you are shy about telling others about them or feel embarrassed just writing them down where nobody can see them because you’ll have the thought, “What if someone found this!  I’d be so self-conscious!”

Most definitely you should not tell others what your ultimate goals are unless you are 100% certain they will support you whole-hog, because otherwise they will shit all over them.  That’s just the way it is.

Once you know what your goals are for all aspects of your life, you should get an Excel spreadsheet and break down your goals into columns by category.  Beneath each column-category, you’ll list the steps you’ll need to take to achieve them.

Below this general overview, you’ll break down your week into columns by days.  Beneath each column-day, you’ll list exactly what you’ll need to achieve each day to complete the “big picture.”

Naturally, you will always be adding stuff and modifying your goals as you get greater insights into yourself and/or find a better path through the morass.  Things will come up on a day-to-day basis and so you don’t fall victim to “overwhelm,” you can just jot them down, prioritize, and even move them about to redistribute your efforts.
