I never read “Alice in Wonderland” or “Through the Looking Glass” but I saw the Tim Burton film with Johnny Depp last night. I don’t normally go for Tim Burton’s stuff because it’s too dark and reeks of the work of someone who got beat up a lot in high school. Nonetheless, this film is a masterpiece – although it brings up the question, “What the hell is this story about?”

The story is about transformation in order to overcome the influence of alien DNA which imprisons humankind. Specifically, the transformation that occurs via the genuine (yang) kundalini process. The yang kundalini is represented by the “Vorpal Sword.” The key line in the film is when Absalom (while undergoing his own transformation from a caterpillar into a butterfly) says to Alice: “The Vorpal Sword knows what it wants. All you have to do is hold on to it.”

The dragon in the film is the influence of the alien DNA (reptile brain?) which Alice must overcome, yet it is the Vorpal Sword (yang kundalini) that does all the work. Alice must only have the courage to allow the process to unfold.

The White and Red Queens represent the two aspects of feminine consciousness – one pre-alien (white) influence, the other post-alien (red) influence. By feminine consciousness I am referring to that which emanates from the right-side of the brain. You’ll notice that the Red Queen has a massive head, due to using too much masculine consciousness (left-side of the brain) in an attempt to control everything around her.

There is a lot more depth to the film, but this is the essence of it. The film is filled with little details that support this occult interpretation, such as the fact that Alice believes “6 impossible things before breakfast” and the number “6″ is symbolic for the kundalini, etc.

You may also notice that the Red Queen is intimately connected to the energy of the heart, which is another fascinating discussion. The problem with anything coming out of Hollywood, is that they tell you a certain amount of truth, and then give you a monster lie to screw you up. But that’s enough for today!
